Bahrain Stock Indices Decline Amidst Financial Sector Downturn

Manama: Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,971.40 points, marking a decrease of 4.36 points below the previous closing. This decrease was attributed to the drop in the financial sector.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw a decline, closing at 951.67 points, which is 8.87 points below its previous closing. The results indicated that 67 equity transactions occurred, with a trading volume of 2,556,352 shares worth BHD 485,177.

Investors predominantly traded in the financial sector, which accounted for 68.12% of the total value of securities traded.
