Manama: Bahrain All Share Index and Bahrain Islamic Index closed lower as multiple sectors experienced a downturn. Bahrain All Share Index ended the trading session at 1,925.31 points, a decrease of 7.44 points from its previous closing level.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the decline in the index was attributed to a drop in several sectors, including communication services, consumer discretionary, financial, industrial, and materials. The Bahrain Islamic Index also saw a decrease, closing at 906.23 points, down by 1.48 points from the previous close.
The trading session witnessed a total of 113 equity transactions, with a trading volume of 2,501,687 and a total value of BD 782,875. Investors showed a keen interest in the financial sector, which accounted for 45.54% of the total value of securities traded.
