Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,053.82 points, marking a decrease of 4.56 points below the previous closing. This decline was influenced by a drop in the communications services sector, the financials sector, and the industrials sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced a downturn, closing at 1,022.75 points, a decrease of 9.21 points from its previous closing. The day's trading results showed that 77 equity transactions occurred, involving a total volume of 1,409,557 and a trading value of BD 445,034.
Investors showed significant interest in the financials sector, which accounted for 35.60% of the total value of securities traded.
