Bahrain made history, booking a berth in the final of the 20th Asian Men’s Handball Championship for the fifth time.
The national team edged Saudi Arabia 29-20 in the semi-final which was played today in Dammam, in the Eastern Province in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The national team will take on in the final match on Monday, Qatar which beat Iran in the second semi-final 34-19.
The national squad outclassed the Saudi team, leading 16-9 at the end of the first half of the match.
