Bahrain Reach Arab U16 Basketball Final With Perfect Record

Cairo: Bahrain's under-16 basketball team defeated Egypt 80-72 in their final preliminary match at the Arab U16 Championship in Cairo, securing a place in the final with a perfect record. Bahrain, who topped the standings, will face Algeria in Sunday's final. The 22nd edition of the tournament included Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait, Tunisia, Algeria, and Qatar, and will conclude with the final and the third-place match.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the team recorded victories over Qatar, Algeria, Kuwait, and Tunisia before ending the preliminary round with a decisive win against hosts Egypt. This marks the first time the hosts have been eliminated on home soil in the tournament's history.
