Manama: The Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications has announced the launch of the mobile postal services project by Bahrain Post, aiming to enhance and expand postal services across the Kingdom's governorates. This project seeks to provide solutions that enable citizens and residents to access postal services without needing to visit traditional post offices.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Khalid Abdulrahman Al Haidan, Assistant Undersecretary for Postal Affairs at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, stated that the project represents a significant improvement in customer experience. It offers an alternative for completing postal transactions quickly and easily in all governorates, reflecting the ministry's commitment to providing services that meet the needs of individuals and institutions.
The project is part of a strategy to modernize and develop postal infrastructure and expand the scope of services. This effort supports digital transformation, improves service quality, and enhances customer satisfaction. Dr. Al Haidan emphasized the ministry's dedication to implementing initiatives that align with global developments and improve services provided to customers.
The initiative includes vehicles equipped with systems to deliver postal services across the Kingdom's governorates. The service is available daily from Saturday to Thursday, between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., allowing customers to access postal services in multiple locations.
Customers wishing to use the service can book an appointment through the Customer Contact Centre at 80001100, via email at [email protected], or through the service page at www.bahrainpost.gov.bh. They can also contact the service via WhatsApp at 17341022. Appointments should be booked at least 24 hours in advance, and confirmations will be made through a follow-up call from the Bahrain Post team.
