Cairo: Bader Hood Al Mahmoud, Undersecretary for Ports and Maritime Affairs at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, took part in the 38th session of the Council of Arab Transport Ministers held in Cairo. The session focused on crucial initiatives to strengthen cooperation among Arab nations in the transport sector. According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting was chaired by Dr. Noura Mohammed Al Mashaan, the Minister of Public Works of Kuwait. Key topics of discussion included the development of the Arab Land Transport Electronic Portal, the establishment of a road safety strategy, enhancement of maritime cooperation, and addressing cybersecurity challenges in civil aviation. Al Mahmoud highlighted the Council's efforts in promoting joint Arab action in the transport industry and reiterated Bahrain's dedication to supporting initiatives that aim to improve regional trade and infrastructure integration.
