Bahrain National Arabian Horse Beauty Championship Kicks Off with Strong Participation


Al raffah: The Bahrain National Arabian Horse Beauty Championship commenced at the Military Sports Union arena at the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club in Al Raffah. This marks the first event of the Arabian Horse Beauty Committee of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) for the 2025-2026 season.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the first day featured qualifying and final rounds for yearling fillies, junior fillies, and mares across various categories. The competitions were managed by a panel of five judges, five disciplinary committee members, and two arena directors, all accredited by the European organisation.



His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of BREEF, emphasized the Federation’s commitment to supporting Arabian horse beauty competitions, highlighting their significance to Bahrain’s cultural heritage. He stated that the championship underscores the nation’s dedication to preserving purebred Arabian horses and its status as a regional hub for breeding.



Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah praised the Arabian Horse Beauty Committee for their efforts in organizing the event and contributing to the development of equestrian sports. He acknowledged the media’s role in promoting equestrian activities and appreciated the support from partners and sponsors, including diamond partners Bapco Energies and Al Salam Bank, and other sponsors across various levels.



In the yearling fillies category, Ghaliya Al Haram of Al Haram Stud secured the gold title, followed by Anwar Al Harm and Fareeda Al Raheel. In the junior fillies category, Aalia Al Haddar of Al Hayat Stud claimed gold, while Manayer and Aali Queen Victoria took silver and bronze, respectively. The mares category saw Jihandra of Osama Al Haram win gold, with De Asaliyah and TFK Hala completing the medal positions.
