Manama: Under the directives of Shaikh Abdulla bin Isa Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Motor Federation (BMF) and FIA Vice President for the Middle East and North Africa, and in cooperation and coordination with Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), Home of Motorsport in the Middle East, a Bahrain Motor Federation delegation conducted an inspection visit to Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia as part of preparations for the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix Formula 1 race, which will be held at the circuit from October 2-4. According to Bahrain News Agency, the delegation reviewed all technical and organisational aspects of the circuit and assessed the readiness of the facilities and equipment designated for race marshals, as well as race management procedures, to ensure the highest levels of preparedness for the successful staging of the global sporting event. They also held a series of meetings with officials from the Malaysian motorsport federation and the management of Sepang International Circuit to discuss various organisational and technical matters, mechanisms for joint coordination, and operational plans for staging the race in accordance with the highest standards approved by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The visit reflects the Bahrain Motor Federation's commitment closely monitor all on-site preparations and ensure the highest organisational and technical standards, contributing to the successful hosting of the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix Formula 1 at Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia.
