Bahrain International Circuit Set to Host National Race Day Season Finale

Sakhir: Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), renowned as 'The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East', is poised to host the seventh and final round of National Race Day this Friday in Sakhir. The event will mark the conclusion of the 2025/2026 season, featuring two of Bahrain's competitive circuit racing championships.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the event will be held on BIC's 2.55-kilometre Inner Track under floodlights, providing a unique night racing experience from 4pm to 11pm. The season finales for the Bahrain Touring Car Challenge (BTCC) and the Bahrain Motorcycle Championship (BMC) promise a night of racing.

Tickets for the event are priced at BD2 for adults and BD1 for children. They are available for purchase online at bahraingp.com, through the BIC Hotline at +973-17450000, or at the gate. Spectators can enjoy views from BIC's Beyon Grandstand, overlooking key circuit sections, including the start and finish lines.

The event is organised by BIC in collaboration with the Bahrain Motor Federation, the Circuit Racing Commission, and the Bahrain Motorcycle Commission. The BTCC schedule includes practice at 5.30pm, qualifying at 6.45pm, followed by two 15-lap races starting at 8pm and 10pm, respectively. Ali Almansoori is expected to lead, having won all 12 races so far.

In the BMC, competition will occur in the 1,000cc and 600cc categories. Practice begins at 6.05pm, with qualifying at 7.35pm, and the 14-lap main race starting at 9pm. Saeed Al Sulaiti and Mohamad Alzaidan secured victories in the previous round for the 1,000cc and 600cc categories, respectively.
