Manama: Rawan Bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, the Minister of Youth Affairs, emphasised Bahrain's commitment to supporting Gulf youth cooperation by hosting the Media and Cultural Forum for Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Youth from December 1 to 5. The event underscores Bahrain's position as a hub for media and cultural innovation, offering young talents in the GCC a platform to enhance their skills and exchange experiences. According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister said that the forum, which features emerging Gulf media talents, aims to showcase success stories, promote cultural and media collaborations, and spotlight innovative youth initiatives. Tawfiqi highlighted the importance of empowering youth, recognising their ability to adapt to modern technologies and turn innovative ideas into real-world successes. She highlighted the forum's role in cultivating a new generation of media and cultural professionals capable of navigating the rapid developments in the field. The ministry has curated an innovative progr amme with discussions led by industry experts to equip participants with insights into modern media and culture. The forum includes topics such as the impact of media on society, youth-driven innovation in media and culture, and field visits to explore Bahrain's contributions to these sectors, she added. Prominent speakers will lead dialogues aimed at inspiring and equipping young Gulf participants to become key contributors to the region's evolving media and cultural landscape.
