Bahrain was honored in appreciation of its continued elimination of endemic measles and rubella, with recognition from the WHO Regional Committee for the Eastern Mediterranean.
The honoring on the 31st plenary meeting of the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) held in Cairo is another achievement made by Bahrain in various health fields, especially in preventive health.
