Bahrain, Germany hold political consultations meeting

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, HE. Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, chaired today the 5th meeting of political consultations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Federal Republic of Germany, on the sidelines of the 17th session of the Manama Dialogue. The German side was chaired by the Secretary of State at the German Federal Foreign Office, HE. Miguel Berger.

Dr. Shaikh Abdullah welcomed the regular holding of political consultations with the German side, praising the development of Bahraini-German relations in all fields.

He highlighted the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain to achieve peace and stability for the people of the region, valuing the contributions of the friendly Republic of Germany in promoting international peace and security.

He also noted the promising economic opportunities and possibilities for joint cooperation between the two countries.

For his part, HE. Secretary Berger affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain is an important partner of Germany in the Middle East, wishing the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity.
