Manama:Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Bahrain's Foreign Minister, met with Stephanie Hallett, the US Ambassador to Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on the strong Bahrain-US relationship and their strategic partnership. Discussions highlighted the ongoing growth in bilateral cooperation across various sectors, with a shared commitment to further enhance collaboration.
They also addressed regional developments, emphasizing efforts to ensure maritime navigation safety and security in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab Al Mandab. The discussions included maintaining regional security and stability and enhancing coordination and consultations during Bahrain's upcoming term on the UN Security Council for 2026-2027. Views on issues of mutual interest were exchanged.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Saeed Abdulkhaleq Saeed, Chief of Coordination and Follow-up.
