London: Dr. Diana Abdulkarim Al Jahromi, Secretary General of the Higher Education Council, represented Bahrain at the Education World Forum 2026 in the United Kingdom. The event, themed "Education for a Shared Future: Peace, Planet, Purpose and Pathways," attracted officials and experts from 125 countries.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Jahromi emphasized Bahrain's strides in the higher education sector, spotlighting accomplishments in academic, educational, and research areas. She stressed the ongoing commitment to advancing the higher education system to align with rapidly evolving global trends.
In addition to her presentation, Dr. Al Jahromi engaged in discussions with representatives from educational institutions and international organizations. These meetings focused on fostering cooperation and sharing expertise in higher education and academic innovation, while also looking at ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation for the sector's ongoing development.
