Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed the signing of the Doha Framework for Peace Agreement between the Government of the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the Congo River Alliance (M23 Movement), commending the mediation efforts undertaken by the State of Qatar in this regard.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasised the importance of both parties honoring the agreement’s terms and resolving the conflict through an inclusive national dialogue. The ministry underlined the need to meet the aspirations of the people of the Democratic Republic of Congo for peace, security, stability, and development, as well as to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid to all affected areas.
