Bahrain Embassy Organises Eighth Bahraini-Omani Exhibition in Oman

Muscat: The Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Sultanate of Oman, in collaboration with the Omani-Bahraini Friendship Association, has inaugurated the eighth Bahraini-Omani Exhibition. The event commenced on Wednesday and is scheduled to run until February 28. The exhibition is being held under the auspices of Ghalib bin Said Al Maamari, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion for Commerce and Industry. Its primary aim is to foster economic cooperation and support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in both countries.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Juma bin Ahmed Al Kaabi, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Sultanate of Oman, emphasized that the exhibition signifies ongoing efforts to bolster bilateral economic relations. This initiative aligns with the outcomes of the Bahrain-Oman Joint Committee and the memoranda of understanding signed by the two nations.

Rudaina bint Amer Al Hajri, Chairperson of the Omani-Bahraini Friendship Association, highlighted the event's role in supporting entrepreneurs and facilitating trade exchange between Bahrain and Oman. The exhibition features around 30 exhibitors, with 20 participants from Oman and 10 from Bahrain, showcasing various enterprises and products.
