Bahrain Culture Authority President Engages with ICESCO Director-General

Jeddah: Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), held a meeting with Dr. Salim bin Mohammed Al Malik, Director-General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organisation (ICESCO), on the sidelines of the 13th Conference of Ministers of Culture in the Islamic World in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The discussion centered on enhancing cultural cooperation and supporting joint projects.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the two leaders focused on the implementation of programmes aimed at preserving Islamic heritage. They also emphasized advancing cultural and intellectual engagement among member states. The meeting underscored the significance of the partnership between BACA and ICESCO in promoting the civilisational achievements of the Islamic world.

Both parties agreed on the importance of strengthening cultural dialogue among nations. The collaboration between BACA and ICESCO aims to showcase the rich heritage and foster a deeper understanding of the diverse cultures within the Islamic world.
