Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned and denounced the Iranian attacks targeting the territory of the State of Kuwait, which resulted in injuries to ten members of Kuwait's Armed Forces and targeted Kuwait International Airport, along with several civilian, economic, and critical infrastructure sites. These attacks are seen as a serious escalation threatening regional security and stability and a violation of international law and the principles of good neighbourliness.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain reaffirmed its full solidarity with Kuwait, expressing support for all measures taken to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity. The Ministry also applauded the preparedness and professionalism displayed by Kuwait's Armed Forces in responding to the attacks.
The statement from Bahrain's Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended wishes for a swift recovery to those injured and expressed hopes for Kuwait's continued security, stability, and prosperity. The Ministry also urged the international community, particularly the UN Security Council, to take firm measures to halt the Iranian attacks targeting regional countries and their people. The call for action emphasizes adherence to UN Security Council Resolution 2817 and UN Human Rights Council Resolution 38/61 to promote regional and international peace and security.
