Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain strongly condemned the terrorist attack targeting a mosque in southwestern Niger, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of dozens of civilians. In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended condolences to the families of the victims and the Niger government and people, wishing a speedy recovery to those injured.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the ministry reiterated Bahrain's solidarity with Niger in its efforts to combat extremism and terrorism, maintain the country's security and stability, as well as its rejection of attacks on places of worship and the intimidation of civilians. The ministry labeled such acts as crimes that go against religious and humanitarian values.
