Manama: The Bahrain Chamber for Dispute Resolution (BCDR) announced the promotion of two Bahraini women to senior leadership positions. Fatema AlWardi has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer (COO), and Fatema Al Zayed Al Jalahma has taken on the role of Chief Registrar (CR).
According to Bahrain News Agency, Ali Abdullah Al Aradi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, expressed pride in seeing Bahraini women assume leadership roles, highlighting the Chamber's commitment to empowering national talent and advancing gender diversity in leadership. He noted that this milestone furthers their efforts to build an inspiring leadership team that can drive the Chamber's vision and strengthen Bahrain's position as a leading regional hub for the development of the ADR industry.
Professor Marike Patrani Paulson, Vice-Chairperson of the Chamber's Board of Trustees, emphasized the exceptional caliber of female personnel within the Chamber. She remarked that each career progression phase opens new learning opportunities and avenues for expanding leadership abilities, which contribute significantly to achieving the Chamber's objectives.
Ahmed Husain, Chief Executive Officer of the BCDR, stressed the importance of strategic investment in Bahraini competencies. He praised AlWardi and Al Zayed Al Jalahma for their competence, dedication, and excellence in executing various projects. He extended his best wishes to them in their new roles.
