Bahrain Chairs 30th Meeting of GCC Legislative Officials Committee

Manama: Counselor Nawaf Abdullah Hamza, President of the Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission, chaired the 30th meeting of the Permanent Committee of Legislative Department Officials of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The meeting took place in Saudi Arabia and focused on various agenda items aimed at strengthening legislative cooperation and coordination among GCC member states.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting included discussions on initiatives and projects designed to advance the joint Gulf legislative framework. This effort supports legal integration across the region. Counsellor Mohammed Abdulrahman Khalil represented the Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission at the meeting, joining officials and representatives from legislative departments of GCC member states.

The meeting is part of ongoing efforts to enhance joint Gulf legislative action. It aims to facilitate the exchange of legal expertise and experiences while promoting unified approaches to issues of common interest. These efforts contribute to the advancement of the GCC's development and integration objectives.
