Bahrain Braces for Unsettled Weather with Scattered Thundery Rain


Manama: The Meteorological Directorate has issued a weather forecast indicating unsettled weather conditions in Bahrain, with scattered rain that may become thundery at times. Residents are advised to prepare for potential disruptions caused by the changing weather patterns.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the wind will be mainly southeasterly, blowing at speeds of 5 to 10 knots. However, it is expected to reach 13 to 18 knots at times, with gusts possibly peaking at 35 knots. A warning has been issued for thundery rain accompanied by very strong gusts.

The sea state is projected to be between 1 to 2 feet inshore and 2 to 4 feet offshore, with the potential to rise to 7 feet during gusts. Maximum temperatures are expected to reach 25ºC, while minimum temperatures may drop to 20ºC. The humidity levels are anticipated to range between a maximum of 95% and a minimum of 40%.
