Bahrain attends WCO committee meeting

Brussels, Director of Customs Commitments and Risks, Major Mohammed Ali Al Shaikh highlighting Bahrain’s customs clearance procedures during a meeting of the World Customs Organisation (WCO) Technical Standing Committee.

During the session, the Director reviewed the experience of the duties of the Customs Clearance Committee, the purpose of its establishment, and the initiatives undertaken by the Committee, which aim to keep pace with developments that would facilitate trade in Bahrain.

Bahrain is seeking to improve its standing in regarding the logistics performance indicators in implementation of the third objective of the Customs Affairs Strategy (2021-2024).
