Manama: The Bahrain Basketball Association has announced the final men’s and women’s under-21 teams ahead of the Gulf 3×3 Basketball Championship, which will be hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain on November 19 and 20 at the North Harbour courts. The event is scheduled just before the final stop of the 3×3 World Tour in Manama and has garnered significant regional interest.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the under-21 men’s team A is composed of Ismail Kamal, Mohammed Ghazi, Elias Younes, and Ali Khaled. Team B includes Mahdi Hubil, Mishal Mohammed, Hassan Ali Ghareeb, and Hamad Faisal, showcasing Bahrain’s strong presence in the competition with two well-prepared teams.
The women’s under-21 team features Aya Murtadha, Bayan Salman, Bayan Ahmed, and Noor Najaf, who have completed an intensive training program to prepare for the championship.
The Bahrain Basketball Association has expressed confidence in the ability of the three teams to perform effectively against their Gulf counterparts. The association highlighted that hosting the tournament offers an ideal opportunity for the players to gain valuable experience and elevate their competitive skills, contributing to the growth of 3×3 basketball in the Kingdom.
