Manama:Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, met with Gemma Stevenson, UK Trade Commissioner for the Middle East and Pakistan, to discuss the relationship between Bahrain and the United Kingdom and explore ways to enhance economic and trade collaboration.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Finance Minister emphasized the historical and strategic partnership between the two nations, highlighting its growth in sectors such as finance, economy, and commerce.
Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa expressed the mutual commitment of Bahrain and the UK to further develop their relations, aiming for broader cooperation that supports shared goals and aspirations.
He underscored the importance of continued collaboration and building on existing partnerships and agreements to promote development and prosperity for both countries. The meeting also addressed recent developments in the global economy.
