New York:Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Bahrain's Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Dr. Johann Wadephul, the Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany, during the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on enhancing the bilateral relations between Bahrain and Germany, exploring ways to boost cooperation in various fields to support mutual interests and objectives.
Additionally, the discussions addressed regional developments and the potential impact of disruptions to maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz on international trade and the global economy. The ministers also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Jamal Fares Al Rowaie, Bahrain's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York, and Ambassador Saeed Abdulkhaliq Saeed from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
