Manama: Jamal Mohammed Fakhro, First Deputy Chairman of the Shura Council, received a delegation from the Brazilian Congress led by Senator Fl¡vio Bolsonaro, who serves as the Chair of the Public Security Committee in the Brazilian Federal Senate. The meeting focused on reinforcing the robust relations between Bahrain and Brazil through enhanced parliamentary cooperation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussions underscored the importance of strengthening coordination and consultation between the two parliamentary bodies in international forums. Both sides expressed a commitment to increase joint work on regional and global issues of mutual interest.
The meeting also explored avenues for economic, commercial, and development cooperation, highlighting opportunities to expand collaboration in these sectors.
