Jeddah: Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Permanent Representative to the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), chaired the Kingdom of Bahrain's delegation to the extraordinary open-ended meeting of the OIC Executive Committee at the level of foreign ministers. The meeting took place at the General Secretariat headquarters in Jeddah.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman emphasised Bahrain's firm support for the Palestinian cause, identifying it as the central issue of the Islamic nation and a critical factor for achieving peace, security, and sustainable stability in the region. He stressed the necessity for negotiations among all parties involved to reach a sustainable resolution.
He further highlighted the importance of unifying Islamic positions and enhancing joint action to confront current challenges. This approach aims to support regional security and stability while upholding the principles of international legitimacy and international law.
