Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,948.17 points, marking a decrease of 3.50 points below the previous closing. This decline was attributed to drops in the consumer discretionary, financial, and consumer staples sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced a decrease, closing at 912.79 points, down by 7.20 points from its previous closing. The results indicated that 62 equity transactions occurred with a volume of 2,905,499, amounting to BD 727,738.
Investors showed a preference for trading in the financial sector, which accounted for 14.70% of the total value of securities traded.
