Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,918.73 points, marking a decrease of 2.18 points below the previous closing. This decrease was due to the drop in the communications service sector and the materials sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 805.22 points, marking a decrease of 2.24 points below the previous closing. Results indicated that 76 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,560,938 worth BD 424,240.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 62.64% of the total value of securities traded.
