Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,874.63 points, marking a decrease of 14.12 points below the previous closing. This decline was attributed to the drop in the financial sector and the material sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw a decrease, closing at 759.64 points, which is 13.77 points below its previous closing. The results showed that 136 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,997,350, totaling BD 584,720 in value.
The report highlighted that investors predominantly traded in the material sector, which accounted for 50.49% of the total value of securities traded.
