Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,891.25 points marking a decrease of 2.54 points below the previous closing. This change was primarily attributed to declines observed in the communications services sector, the consumer discretionary sector, the financial sector, the industrial sector, and the material sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw a reduction, closing at 923.50 points, which is 2.40 points less than its previous closing. The trading session witnessed 124 equity transactions with a total volume of 1,232,143 and a value amounting to BD 422,847.
The financial sector dominated the trading activities, accounting for 75.73% of the total value of securities traded. Investors showed a significant preference for this sector during the trading session.
