Bahrain All Share Index Declines as Islamic Index Sees Gains

Manama: Bahrain All Share Index witnessed a decline, closing at 1,937.90 points, which is a drop of 6.56 points from its previous closing. This decline was primarily driven by a decrease in the communication services and material sectors.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index, in contrast, saw an increase, closing at 862.83 points, up by 2.20 points from the previous closing. The day's trading activity included 66 equity transactions involving a volume of 1,051,261, valued at BD 408,832.

Investors focused their trading efforts on the financial sector, which accounted for 70.78% of the total value of securities traded.
