Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,970.73 points, marking a decrease of 0.67 points below the previous closing. This decrease was attributed to the drop in the communication services sector and the financial sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced a decline, closing at 948.07 points, which is 3.60 points below its previous closing. The latest results highlighted that 53 equity transactions took place, with a trading volume of 1,116,779 worth BD 474,038.
Investors focused primarily on the material sector, which represented 65.06% of the total value of securities traded.
