Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,934.50 points, marking a decrease of 0.46 points below the previous closing. This decrease was attributed to a drop in the materials sector. Meanwhile, the Bahrain Islamic Index has shown an increase, closing at 924.75 points, which is 3.50 points above the previous closing. According to Bahrain News Agency, the results indicated that 165 equity transactions took place with a volume of 2,698,863, amounting to BD 812,416. Investors focused their trading activities mainly in the financials sector, which represented 65.88% of the total value of securities traded.
