Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,891.25 points, marking a decrease of 2.54 points below the previous closing. This decline in the index reflects a downturn in several key sectors, including communications services, consumer discretionary, financial, industrial, and materials.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index has also experienced a decline, closing at 923.50 points, a decrease of 2.40 points compared to the prior closing. The trading session witnessed 124 equity transactions with a trading volume of 1,232,143 and a total value of BD 422,847.
Investors showed significant interest in the financial sector, which accounted for 75.73% of the total value of securities traded in this session.
