Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,953.24 points, marking an increase of 1.14 points above the previous closing. This increase was attributed to the rise in the communications services sector and the financial sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 857.09 points, marking a decrease of 0.23 points below the previous closing. The market activity included 76 equity transactions with a trading volume of 4,419,267, amounting to BD 878,734.
Investors focused their trading activities mainly in the financial sector, which represented 87.58% of the total value of securities traded.
