Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,948.65 points, marking an increase of 8.92 points above the previous closing. This increase was due to the rise in the financial sector and the materials sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 876.49 points, marking an increase of 10.34 points above the previous closing. Results indicated that 68 equity transactions took place with a volume of 1,121,376 worth BD 407,380.
Investors traded mainly in the financial sector, representing 44.89% of the total value of securities traded.
