Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,956.93 points, marking an increase of 1.24 points above the previous closing. This rise is attributed to growth in the materials sector. In contrast, the Bahrain Islamic Index remained stable, closing at 921.76 points with no change from its previous closing.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the market activity involved 51 equity transactions with a trading volume of 807,423 shares valued at BD 202,806. The financial sector dominated trading, accounting for 62.14% of the total value of securities exchanged.
