Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,991.88 points, marking an increase of 10.51 points above the previous closing. This rise is attributed to positive performances in the financials, materials, and real estate sectors. According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced an increase, closing at 973.24 points, which is 14.19 points higher than the previous closing. The trading session witnessed 175 equity transactions with a trading volume of 1,785,999 shares valued at BD 626,223. Investors showed significant interest in the materials sector, which accounted for 47.08% of the total value of securities traded, highlighting a strong focus on this sector during the trading period.
