Manama: Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,987.52 points, experiencing a reduction of 2.58 points from the previous closing. This decline was attributed to decreases in the consumer discretionary, financials, and industrials sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw a decrease, closing at 936.50 points, which is 3.10 points lower than its previous closing. The trading results revealed that 53 equity transactions occurred, with a volume of 734,617 and a total value of BD 212,193.
Investors primarily engaged in trading within the financial sector, which accounted for 71.78% of the total value of securities traded.
