Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,930.86 points, marking a decrease of 1.92 points below the previous closing. This decrease was due to the drop in the financial sector and the real estate sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also witnessed a decline, closing at 862.77 points. This reflects a decrease of 2.16 points compared to the previous closing. The downturn in both indices highlights challenges in key sectors influencing the market.
Results indicated that 69 equity transactions took place with a volume of 711,844 worth BD 240,018. Investors showed a significant interest in the material sector, which represented 39.04% of the total value of securities traded. This trading activity suggests a strategic focus on materials amidst the fluctuations in other sectors.
