Bahrain All Share and Islamic Indices Decline Amid Sectoral Losses

Manama: Bahrain All Share Index saw a decrease, closing at 1,958.88 points, which is 27.97 points below its previous closing. This decline was attributed to drops across several sectors, including communication services, consumer discretionary, financial, materials, real estate, and consumer staples sectors.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced a decline, closing at 965.42 points, a decrease of 6.65 points from its last closing. The trading results showed that 106 equity transactions were conducted with a volume of 932,786, amounting to BD 326,563. The financial sector was the focal point for investors, accounting for 29.20% of the total value of securities traded.
