Manama: Bahrain All Share Index closed at 2,060.72 points, increasing by 1.27 points from the previous close. The rise was attributed to gains in the consumer discretionary and financials sectors.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also showed progress, closing at 1,022.60 points, which is an increase of 0.52 points from its previous closing. The market activity included 113 equity transactions, with a trading volume reaching 1,549,499 and a total value of BD 551,483.
Investors focused largely on the materials sector, which accounted for 34.52% of the total securities' value traded during the session.
