Bahrain All Share and Islamic Indexes Close Higher Driven by Sector Gains

Manama: The Bahrain All Share Index and the Bahrain Islamic Index have both closed higher, reflecting gains across multiple sectors. The All Share Index ended the trading session at 1,979.05 points, which is an increase of 17.17 points from its previous close. Meanwhile, the Islamic Index concluded at 967.06 points, experiencing a gain of 17.22 points.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the upward trend in the indexes was primarily due to positive performances in the communications services sector, financial sector, industrial sector, and material sector. The trading session saw a total of 95 equity transactions, involving a volume of 1,589,839 and a total value of BD 475,257.

Investors showed a strong preference for the financial sector, which accounted for 71.53% of the total value of securities traded during the session. The robust trading activity across these key sectors contributed to the overall positive performance of the stock market.
