Rome, President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, met, in the presence of Bahraini Ambassador to Italy Dr. Nasser Mohammed Al Balushi, with Italian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Marina Serini.
Both sides discussed means of boosting cultural cooperation, stressing the importance of cultural diplomacy in narrowing distances and laying bridges of cooperation between the two friendly countries.
Shaikha Mai and the Italian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation visited the art collections of the Italian Foreign Ministry which adorn the ministry’s building and depict the history of the Italian arts.
