BACA President and Jordanian Culture Minister Discuss Cultural Cooperation


Manama: Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), met with Mustafa Rawashdeh, Minister of Culture of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, to explore cultural cooperation between the two kingdoms.



According to Bahrain News Agency, during the meeting, the BACA President emphasized the longstanding historical ties between Bahrain and Jordan. He commended the shared cultural achievements and reiterated Bahrain’s interest in enhancing cultural exchanges with Jordan to benefit both nations.



The Jordanian Minister expressed his desire to further strengthen cultural cooperation between the two countries. He reaffirmed his commitment to developing and expanding this collaboration.



The visit also included a tour of the Bahrain National Museum’s galleries, where the minister was introduced to the museum’s archaeological artefacts and artistic displays that highlight key civilisations that have influenced Bahrain’s history.
