Assistant Undersecretary for Ports, Search and Follow Up, Major-General Abdulrahman Saleh Al Sinan, has chaired Bahrain’s delegation to the 35th online meeting for GCC Director-General of Passports.
The meeting reviewed different topics, including the experiences of developed countries and the importance of media programmes to enhance awareness about the protection of passports and documents. The attendees discussed training programmes and mechanisms of generalising them among Gulf countries.
A meeting was also held for the Directors-General of Passports Committee and the Joint Gulf Committee to Tackle Challenges to complete the requirements of the joint Gulf market. The meeting discussed unifying tourism visas and entry visas for certain residents
