Arab Parliament Condemns Iranian Drone and Missile Attacks on Bahrain and Kuwait

Manama: The Arab Parliament strongly condemned the repeated Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait using drones and ballistic missiles, affirming that these attacks constitute a flagrant violation of international law and the United Nations Charter, and a direct infringement on the sovereignty, security, and stability of states.

According to Bahrain News Agency, in a statement, Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Yamahi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament, said that the continuation of these hostile acts directly threatens regional security and stability and requires a firm and serious international response to deter them and bring them to an end.

The statement stressed the Arab Parliament's full and absolute solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, and its full support for all sovereign and security measures they take to protect their national security, the safety of citizens and residents, and vital and economic facilities.

The Arab Parliament reiterated that the security of the Gulf states is an integral part of the broader Arab national security system, calling on the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to fulfil its legal and moral responsibilities to stop these repeated attacks and prevent any threats to the security and stability of the region and its peoples.
